If you only read one email from us this year, read this one. Our Just One Thing for May is to check if there is unclaimed property (i.e. money) out there with your name on it. Every state has an unclaimed property website where you can search to see if there is unclaimed property in your name. It could be refunds that couldn’t be sent to you, security deposits you’re owed, bank accounts you opened and forgot about, etc.
