June’s Just One Thing

We’re taking a short break from our series on home buying to focus on something from last week’s article about getting your finances prepared: your credit.

Specifically, our one task for June is to check your credit report and make sure everything on it is accurate.

Your credit report is a summary of your history with debt and credit. But did you know it’s up to YOU to make sure everything on yours is accurate? If there’s something on yours you don’t recognize, it could be a mistake or it could be identity theft – either way you want to catch it as soon as possible.
