Don’t fall for these tax myths!

Taxes are complicated and every year it seems like there are new myths that circulate claiming to help people reduce, or erase completely, the taxes they owe. Some are based on misunderstandings of how taxes work, and some are just ….. well, let’s just say there’s not a checkbox on your W-4 that exempts you from paying taxes entirely. While some of these do seem ridiculous once you know better, it can be expensive and time-consuming to undo the consequences of falling for them. How many of these myths do you know?
