Last week we talked about Health Savings Accounts and this week we’re covering a different type of healthcare related savings account: the FSA.
A Flexible Spending Account has a lot of things in common with a Health Savings Account; they’re both used to pay for healthcare expenses, they both are paired with employer health plans, and they both have potential tax advantages for the employee they cover. But the difference are more important than what they have in common, because getting them mixed up could cost you a lot of money.
