July’s Just One Thing (this is a good one)

If you have five minutes you have time to for this month’s money to-do. Every state maintains a website where you can search to see if there is unclaimed property in your name. It could be refunds that were never sent to you, security deposits you’re owed, bank accounts you opened and forgot about, etc. It could be a couple bucks or it could be a lot more but its definitely worth finding your state’s website and searching for your name.
